An Envato purchase gives you one item license for one end product. This page covers what that includes, where the two license types differ, and which parts of a jkdevstudio product an Envato license does not reach.
#Regular or Extended
Both licenses give you the same files. What separates them is whether the thing you build charges its own users.

Neither licence lets you resell or redistribute the theme as a theme.
That is the one rule both share, it is a rule Envato sets rather than ours, and their current text governs whatever a summary anywhere says.
#One end product
An item license covers one end product. In practice that means one live site.
A staging copy, a local development copy and a test install of the same site are part of the same end product, so they are covered. A second client site is a second end product and needs a second purchase.

Covered. Deactivate the license on the old domain first, so the activation is available for the new one.

#What the license does not include
Two things are commonly assumed to be part of the purchase and are not.
The first is support beyond the included window. Envato includes six months of author support, extendable at purchase or afterwards. When the window ends the license stays valid forever, and updates keep arriving; what stops is your ability to open a support request.
The second is customization. Support covers the theme working as documented. Changing how it works, writing custom code for your site, or making a third party plugin behave differently are all outside it, and their own item support policy draws the same line for every author on the marketplace.
#Where Envato limits show up in the product
Some jkdevstudio features are tied to the direct channel rather than the marketplace one, so a screen may tell you the feature is not available on an Envato license. That is not a fault, and reactivating will not change it.
The clearest example is Version Control, the screen inside the theme admin that updates and rolls back the theme and the Pro plugin. It belongs to the direct channel, so a marketplace purchase downloads its versions from the account instead and installs them as a zip.
If you want those features, the licence in your account carries a Premium offer with the author share of your marketplace purchase already applied as credit, so you pay the difference rather than the full price.

My support window expired. Do I have to buy the theme again?
No, the licence and the updates are permanent, and renewing the support window from your Envato downloads page is what brings support back.
Can I use one purchase for a client site and my own?
No, those are two end products and need two licences, which is the rule the whole marketplace runs on rather than something we added.
Does the client need their own license after I hand the site over?
No, the licence goes with the end product you built and sold, so it transfers to them along with the site.
Where do I find my purchase code?
On the Envato Downloads page under License certificate and purchase code, and in the receipt email for that order.
I am not sure which licence I bought
Your Envato downloads page names the licence type next to the item, and if that is still unclear then open a ticket with the purchase code and we will tell you what it carries.
