Header Style

Create a Post

The site-wide header style for posts is at AppearanceCustomizeTheme OptionsSingle Post, in Header Style. Every post follows it until you say otherwise.

To give one post a different header, open it in the editor and find the Post Settings box. Change Header Style from Global (use default) to one of the five styles, and that post alone uses it.

Leaving the field on Global (use default) hands the post back to the Customizer setting, so changing the site-wide style later updates it along with the rest.

For the full map of the Customizer panel, see where every theme setting lives.
