License Activation
Activation binds this site to your purchase and unlocks everything the license gates, updates included. Until it is done, the WordPress admin keeps showing a warning notice.
#Before you start
The JKDEVKIT plugin is installed and active
You know which account made the purchase, Envato or jkdevstudio
Your browser allows popups for this site
#Activate this site
Open the license screen
In the WordPress admin sidebar, open the product dashboard page, then the License tab. Until the site is licensed, that tab shows a short activation panel.
Open the Hub window
Click Activate License. A jkdevstudio Hub window opens on top of the admin. If nothing appears, the browser blocked the popup, so allow popups for this site and click again.
Pick the way you bought it
Bought on Envato: click Activate via Envato and sign in to your Envato account, so Hub can read the purchases behind it.
Bought directly from jkdevstudio: click Activate via Hub and sign in with the email address you used at checkout.
Confirm the license
Select the purchase you want to use on this domain, accept the terms, and confirm. The window closes on its own and the License tab reloads.
The License tab now shows the buyer name, the purchase code, the support end date and the domain the license is bound to.
#Free the activation before you move the site
A license is bound to the domain it was activated on. Before you rebuild the site, move it to another domain, or hand it over to someone else, open the License tab and click Deactivate License. The license stays on your account and can be used again elsewhere.
The Hub window shows no purchase to select
You are signed in with an account that does not hold this license. Sign out inside that window, then sign in with the account that made the purchase.
The purchase code cannot be verified
A direct purchase from jkdevstudio cannot be verified through the Envato path. Close the window, click Activate License again, and use Activate via Hub.
