Search - Elisen

Elementor

This widget puts a search form on a page, a sidebar, or a footer. It is separate from the search panel in the navigation bar, which stays where it is.

Drag Search from the jkd widgets group onto the page, or use the shortcode where Elementor is not available.

#Settings

Placeholder

The text shown in the empty field. Leave it empty to use the value from AppearanceCustomizeTheme OptionsTranslation, so it follows the site language.

Appearance

Default fills the field to match the other theme inputs. Bordered draws an outline instead, which reads better on a colored background.

#The shortcode

[jkd_search]

The placeholder works as an attribute:

[jkd_search placeholder="Search recipes"]

Results open on the standard search results page, so anything you set for archive grids in AppearanceCustomizeTheme OptionsBlog applies to them too.
