These settings control the post grid on archive pages: categories, tags, author pages, and search results. Find them in AppearanceCustomizeTheme OptionsBlog.
#Archive posts grid
- Style
The layout used for archive cards. Twelve styles are available, and they differ in how the image, meta, and excerpt are arranged.
- Columns count
How many cards sit in a row on desktop. The grid drops to fewer columns on smaller screens on its own.
- Items offset
The gap between cards, in pixels.
- Title length
The maximum number of words in a card title. Longer titles are cut with an ellipsis. Lower this if long titles push your cards out of line.
- Excerpt length
The maximum number of words in a card excerpt.
#Card meta
- Views counter
Shows the view count on each card.
- Reading time
Shows the estimated reading time on each card. The estimate is tuned with Reading Time Divisor in AppearanceCustomizeTheme OptionsGeneral, which is the words-per-minute figure.
These two apply to archive pages. Post grids you place with Elementor carry their own switches for views, reading time, likes, author, date, category, and the bookmark button.
#Sidebar
Turn the sidebar on and choose whether it sits left or right. It shows the widgets from the blog sidebar area in AppearanceWidgets, and the grid drops a column to make room.
#Pagination
Choose numbered pages or a Load more button, and set the alignment. Turning pagination off shows only the first page of results.
#Bookmarks page
Pick the page that lists what a visitor has bookmarked, and set its title and subtitle. Bookmarks are stored in the visitor browser, so a blocked cookie means an empty page even after they save something.
