The theme and Auno Pro - Auno

Getting Started

Auno comes in two parts. The theme draws every page and works on its own; Auno Pro is a plugin that adds the portfolio, its media formats, a few blocks and the integrations. The split follows the WordPress rule that a theme presents content and a plugin adds features, so nothing you build in the theme depends on the plugin being there.

#If Auno Pro is turned off

Your posts, pages and projects stay in the database, and the theme keeps drawing every page it owns. What Pro added stops showing until the plugin is back: the Portfolio menu and the project pages, the Pro blocks in your templates, the Pro patterns in the inserter, and the integrations. Sections you already inserted from a Pro pattern are ordinary blocks on the page and stay where they are. Turn Pro back on and the projects return with their details.

#Questions

Can I start with the theme and add Pro later?

Yes. Activate a license and install Auno Pro on the same site, and the portfolio appears in the admin. Nothing in the theme needs to be rebuilt.

Does Pro change how the theme looks?

Only where it adds something: the project pages, the works grid, the media badges and the integrations' forms. Colors, fonts and layout still come from Styles, so a change there applies to the Pro parts as well.
