API Keys

Customization

Some of Monogram features connect to external services. If you want to use Google Maps on your site, you'll need to add the right API keys here.

#Getting Started

Go to Appearance > Customize > API Keys in your WordPress dashboard.

#Google Maps API Key

If you're using the Google Map widget in Elementor, you'll need a Google Maps API key to display maps on your site.

#How to get your key:

  1. Visit the Google Cloud Console
  2. Create a new project (or select an existing one)
  3. Go to APIs & Services > Library and enable the Maps JavaScript API
  4. Go to APIs & Services > Credentials and click Create Credentials > API Key
  5. Copy your new API key

#Where to paste it:

Back in the Customizer under API Keys, paste your key into the Google Maps API Key field.

Google offers a generous free tier for Maps usage, so most small-to-medium websites won't incur any charges.
