Theme Updates & Changelog
Keeping Monogram up to date ensures you have the latest features, bug fixes, and security patches.
#Automatic Updates
The recommended method. Requires an activated license via JKDEVKIT.
- Activate your license in Theme Dashboard > License using your Envato purchase code
- When updates are available, a notification appears in WordPress > Updates
- Click Update Now to install the latest version
#Manual Updates
If automatic updates are not available:
- Download the latest theme version from ThemeForest (your Downloads page)
- Extract the zip file - locate
monogram.zip(the installable theme file) - Go to Appearance > Themes
- Delete the current Monogram theme (your content and settings are preserved)
- Click Add New > Upload Theme and upload the new
monogram.zip - Activate the theme
Always back up your site before updating. Use a backup plugin like UpdraftPlus or your hosting provider backup feature. If you edited parent theme files directly (not recommended), those changes will be lost on update.

#After Updating
- Clear all caches (browser cache, caching plugin, CDN)
- Regenerate Elementor CSS: Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS
- Check for core plugin updates in the TGMPA notification bar
- Test key pages to verify everything works correctly
