TranslatePress offers a visual, on-page translation editor where you translate content directly on your site.
#Setup
Install and activate TranslatePress - Multilingual from the recommended plugins list
Go to Settings > TranslatePress in your WordPress dashboard
Set your default language and add target languages
Save changes
Click the Translate Site button in the admin bar to open the visual editor
#Theme Integration
Monogram includes a vendor wrapper that ensures TranslatePress compatibility with Barba.js page transitions. The language switcher reinitializes automatically when navigating between pages.
#How It Works
TranslatePress stores translations in your own database. You translate content visually:
Navigate to any page on your site using the visual editor
Click on any text element to translate it
Type or paste the translation in the sidebar panel
Save and move to the next element
