Yes, Elementor is a required plugin for Monogram.
The theme relies on Elementor for several core features:
Page building - creating and customizing page layouts visually
22 custom widgets - portfolio grids, testimonials, counters, FAQ accordions, globe visualization, and more
Demo content - all demo pages are built with Elementor
Template system - before-footer templates and portfolio after-templates use Elementor
#Without Elementor
If Elementor is not installed, you can still:
Use basic WordPress pages with the block editor
Create blog posts and portfolio items
Use the Customizer for theme settings
However, you lose access to:
All 22 custom Elementor widgets
Demo page layouts and designs
Visual page building capabilities
Custom animations on Elementor sections
#Which Version?
Elementor Free is the minimum requirement. All 22 custom theme widgets work with the free version.
Elementor Pro adds additional features (theme builder, popup builder, WooCommerce widgets) but is not required for Monogram to function fully.
Elementor is listed as a required plugin during theme installation via TGMPA. The theme installation wizard prompts you to install it along with other required plugins.
