Registered blocks - Verba

The block editor itself works with the free theme. The blocks on this page come with the Pro plugin, because WordPress.org does not allow a theme to register blocks of its own. The Pro badge applies to these blocks only.

You'll find them in the inserter under JKD Blocks, after the core categories.

#How these blocks are built

They're ordinary WordPress blocks, registered natively with no third-party block builder behind them. A Verba block works in posts, pages, templates, patterns, and synced patterns, and it survives a core update without dragging a dependency along.

#Blocks and Elementor widgets share one set of settings

The complex elements are declared once and handed to both editors, so a block and its Elementor widget have the same settings. The post listing is the clearest case: one schema drives the block, the widget, Theme Options, and the fields on a post or category. See post and term listings.

Moving a page between the block editor and Elementor loses no capability. See Elementor widgets.

A full author card with avatar, name, social profiles, and biography.

A compact card for one author, with portrait, name, and a subline.

A pull quote with the person behind it and an optional photo.

Label

A small pill for a category, a status, or a tag.

Promo Bar

A compact strip with a message and a button.

Marketing Bar and Marketing Message

Time Greeting

A greeting that changes with the time of day.

A small stack of tilted picture cards for decoration.

Places a saved Elementor template anywhere a block can go, so one fragment doesn't force a whole page into Elementor.

#Blocks that come with an integration

#Extra panels on the core Group block

Select a Group block and the sidebar gets two panels from Verba:

Layout Utilities

A theme surface, sticky behavior, and borders for the section. See layout utilities.

Reveal Animation

Animate this group in makes the whole section fade and rise into place the first time a reader scrolls to it. Animation picks the direction: up, down, from the right, from the left, in place, or scale. It only runs while Reveal Animations is on at AppearanceCustomizeVerba ThemeGeneral.
