Elementor widgets - Verba
The Pro plugin adds these widgets to the Elementor panel, under JKD Widgets. You only need them if you build pages in Elementor; the theme is complete without it. See how Verba uses Elementor for where that line runs.
Moving from the block editor to Elementor takes nothing away. The complex elements are declared once and handed to both editors, so a widget and its block have the same settings. The post listing shows it best: one schema feeds the widget, the block, Theme Options, and the fields on a post or category. See post and term listings.
#The widgets
Each widget gets one line on what it's for. Its settings are in the panel, so this page doesn't repeat them.
Listings and selections
- Post Listing
Posts as a grid, slider, carousel, ticker, or one large post.
- Taxonomy Listing
Categories and tags as cards, a list, or labels, in a grid, slider, or ticker.
- Catalogue Listing
The catalog of your categories.
- Resources Listing
A collection of materials.
Header and footer parts
- Logotype, Social Icons, Quick Links, Copyright
The pieces a header or footer is assembled from.
- Promo Bar
A compact strip with a message and a button.
- Marketing Bar
An announcement strip with one message or a rotating set.
- Section Title
A heading with a subtitle and a link, for the top of a section.
People
- Author Bio
A full author card with avatar, name, social profiles, and biography.
- Author Card
A compact card for one author, with portrait, name, and a subline.
- Avatar Stack
A row of overlapping portraits.
Content and accents
- Button, Label, Quote
The small elements, styled by the theme.
- Ad Banner
A banner from the media library, or your own ad code.
- Video Box, Before / After, Image Hotspots
The media and interaction widgets.
- Time Greeting
A greeting that changes with the time of day.
- Decorative Cards
A small stack of tilted picture cards for decoration.
- Auth
A sign-in and registration form.
#Widgets that come with an integration
These only appear in the panel while their integration is installed and active, so a missing one isn't a bug:
- Algolia Listing and Algolia Search, with the Algolia integration
- Mailchimp Form, with the Mailchimp integration
- Contact Form 7, with the Contact Form 7 integration
- FAQ Listing, with the FAQ integration. It sits in Elementor's General category rather than under JKD Widgets.

#What Verba adds to Elementor's own elements
- Container
A Layout Utilities section on the Layout tab. See layout utilities.
- Image
A Parallax section on the Content tab. Enable Parallax moves the image as the page scrolls, with Speed, Direction, Disable on Mobile, and Parallax Border Radius, which rounds the frame so the corners stay crisp while the image moves.
- Heading and Text Editor
An Opacity control in their style settings.
